Vintage Hutch :: Gorgeous Blue Interior

This antique hutch is from the 1940's and in fantastic condition. It's been sitting in my workshop patiently waiting for it's turn at a makeover story. Talk about potential!

My client decided on Old White with a blue interior - such a fun color combo, one of my favorites.

I love how it turned out!!

Rescued Headboard

Here is a quick before and after post - short and sweet!

A new client of mine came to me with this headboard. She actually rescued it from a dumpster and knew it was meant for greatness.  Man, was she was right!

She requested we paint it in Annie Sloan's Old White.  Here is how it looks now!

She's actually a local photographer and is planning on using it as a prop during some of her photo shoots.  So lovely!

Splash of Color :: Duck Egg

My sis-in-law & her husband just finished a beautiful (nearly all white) kitchen makeover. While they are in love with all things white, they craved a little color for their new space.

We decided to help them refinish their existing kitchen table. This little table will be the heart of family breakfasts and casual dinners.  It's now centered around some new custom built-in seating.

Here is how the table originally looked:

And here is the after ...
We decided on Annie Sloan's Duck Egg - such a great choice paired with white.
This cottage-inspired table will be the perfect splash of color for their new space!

bathroom storage cabinet

I had the pleasure of working with a new client on a piece she recently purchased at a rummage sale.  She found this child size armoire and knew right away that it would perfect for some extra bathroom storage.  So she snatched it up and contacted me for a little paint makeover.

Here is how it looked when she found it {sorry Bambi!}:

She requested the outside be painted in Annie Sloan Old White with some light distressing and the inside be painted a fun blue/green color. I decided to custom mix a few of my existing Annie Sloan paint colors together until I saw what I liked.  And I have to say, I LOVE this color - it reminds me of sea glass or of my beloved blue mason jars that I just swoon over.  LOVE!

She found the glass knobs at Hobby Lobby for $3.99 each - what a steal!

This piece is going to look fantastic housing bathroom linens and towels.  I love witnessing a client's vision come to life!  I know I'm slightly biased, but I must say this is a job well done!

Old White Buffet

This buffet is gorgeous. It's from the 1940's and in fantastic condition. We painted it in Old White and lightly distressed.  I love how the original hardware compliments it's new paint color.  So lovely!

There's a hidden pop of Sage Green behind all of the doors ... I

My clients are going to be using this as a media center - what a fun piece for a living room!

Here's a before photo for those of you who like to see the full transformation.
