Little Dresser Makeover

This lonely little dresser sat in my garage for a few months. While it had so much potentional, it patiently sat waiting for the right new home.  The top drawer flips down and actually can be used as a small writing desk, how cool is that?! Anyway, it sat for a long while until a new client stopped over to pick up a different piece {remember the darling Sea Salt end table?}. She was looking for a smaller dresser to match it, both going in her guest room.

We decided on the same bright white paint color and the same hardware color and paired it with the same amount of distressing. Well, it's finally finished ... and I'm please to show off the results!

I am in love with it!!  This little dresser will be lonely, no more!

Before & After

A very fun client of mine came to me looking for both a dresser and a
nightstand for a bedroom she's transitioning into a guestroom.
We went through my stash of furniture and she decided on the
two very dated pieces below.  We had high hopes for turning them into
statement pieces.  And, I think we did just that!

She wanted them painted a color called Oregano and heavily
distressed. We paired them with pulls she picked out from Anthro.

I think we nailed it. They turned out great. So fun.
Maybe she'll bless us with a picture of her new guestroom
when she has everything set up, hint hint.  ;)

Secretary Desk, custom makeover!

A repeat client of mine referred her mother-in-law to me. She had a secretary desk that didn't match the other furniture in her room, so, she hired me for the makeover.

Here is how the desk looked...

and she wanted it to match these ...

And, here's how it turned out!

Success!
