Custom Project

I may just have a new favorite. Oh, how I wish this one
was staying in my home.

I had the pleasure of meeting a new client. Her family just recently
purchased a new lake home on one of the nearby surrounding lakes.

She came to me with some of her existing furniture in hopes we
could create a more summery, lake house feel.

The first one on her list was this buffet.
She's going to now be using it as an entertainment center.
Such a great idea.

We decided to paint it Annie Sloan's Old White and
keep the original hardware.

It turned out fantastic!

Leafy Green Sidebar

Here is the most recent custom project that we just finished up.
What a fun color on such a unique piece!
I just love the way it turned out.

Before & After

A new client of mine came to me requesting a
bedroom set makeover.
It wasn't any bedroom set, it used to be her moms.
So, naturally, it has some special meaning and,
like many pieces, it was dated.

Here is what she dropped off:

And here is what she's picking up:

I love this transformation!

Corner Cabinet

A repeat client of mine has been looking for a
corner cabinet for in her dining room.
She stumbled upon one on Craig's List and snatched it
up at a bargain price.
She emailed me for a custom quote and said
she wanted it painted black and lightly distressed.
So, we did just that.

I think it turned out perfect!

Refinished Bedroom Set

A new client came to me asking for help with a bedroom set.
{An entire bedroom set!}
She was recently gifted some furniture that had been in the family . . .
no one else wanted it.
Unlike the others, she saw it's potential!

On the list:
Full Size Bed
Two Matching End Tables
Tall Dresser
Low Dresser
 Mirror

Here are a few before pictures . . .

The furniture was in GREAT shape.
Solid. Heavy. Dovetailed Draws. Beautiful. Dated.

She requested a creamy white color with distressing.

Here are LOTS of after pictures!

Such a fun project!!!
And ready just in time for holiday company.

Writing Desk Transformation!

A previous client of mine referred her parents to me.
{my.oh.my. how i love referrals}
They had this beautiful antique writing desk
that they wanted to have refinished.
I don't blame them . . .
this desk has been in their family for quite some time.
It had sentimental value written all over it.

Here is how it came to me:

 {Kind of scary, right?!}
Well, we decided to paint it a creamy white color and
 lightly distress as needed.
We paired it with glass knobs.

And now, it is finally safe to say . . .
this desk truly is a beauty again.
I'm sure it will be passed on for a few more generations to come.

White Armoire

My client's vision piece was this:
Pottery Barn Charlotte Amoire
$1,299.00

Gorgeous - yet SO expensive.

So, she found this armoire on Craig's List
and we did our best to match it up.
Lovely & Affordable!

It's ready for pick-up!

It was my client's idea to turn this . . .
