Cedar Chest

{Preview: We won the furniture lottery with this one!}

A few weeks ago we got a call from a friend saying

he had a piece of furniture that we may be interested in.

If not, they were donating it.

Free furniture? YES, please.

We were shocked to find out it was a

Lane Cedar Chest.

We've actually been looking for a chest for awhile.

Here is the before picture:

I decided to first paint it gray and then

do a whitewash over it.

Here is how it turned out:

We absolutely love it.
