Statement Dresser

Every room needs a statement piece of furniture.  My client's bedroom will now have one.
Here is a dresser we just finished up for her.  Painted in Annie Sloan's Pure White - with a surprise pop of color inside the door. Lovely!

For those interested, here is how the dresser looked when I found it at Good Will!

  1. First of all, what a great eye you have to have seen past the ugly at GW! Secondly I just painted a dresser in pure white too... And I'm a little in love ;) I never paint white so it was a change for me! Seriously love the dresser! Great job!

  8. I love the pop of color. I like the way the white makes the "carvings" looks so much more classy. :)

  9. I have a dresser set up very much like this that we use for a TV stand and media holder. Would love to do the secret color inside this way! That being said, it's my own dresser and who knows when i will get to painting it! Lol.Very nice!

  11. I love the pop of blue! I have a similar dresser that I painted solid black but now I wished I had painted the inside drawers a fun color like this. You can see it here http://thestylesisters.blogspot.com/2012/02/under-da-sea-part-2-thrift-store.html
